The EUREGHA Secretariat welcomes two new interns! Get to know them:

My name is Oda Marie Stey, and I am pursuing a Master’s in International Politics and Economics at the University of Bologna. With a former background in Development studies, I now look forward to focusing on European challenges and health policies.

My professional experiences span leading teams in multicultural settings to engaging in policy advocacy through internships and international programs. This has allowed me to navigate the complexities of international relations and aid management.

Besides my professional and academic background, I am also a curious and freezing Norwegian, which has led me to live in five different countries over the past six years. These opportunities, in combination with a pandemic, have definitely enriched my perspectives on health policy across different cultural and institutional landscapes. With the European Parliament election this year, I aim to assist EUREGHA in involving local and regional authorities in shaping effective and inclusive health policies.

I am Nicolò D’Acquisto, the new trainee at EUREGHA’s Secretariat, joining the team until March 21st.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Diplomatic and International Sciences at the University of Bologna with a particular focus on European governance. Throughout my academic studies, I have delved deeply into comprehending the roles of EU actors, institutions, governance, and their profound impacts on our daily lives. My fervor for these subjects was further kindled during my experience in the Erasmus+ program at the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium, where I studied European Law, particularly focusing on the legal framework of the European Common Market.

As we stand on the threshold of the European Parliament election this year, I am genuinely excited about the prospect of contributing to EUREGHA’s endeavors. I am highly motivated to learn from this opportunity and to do my best in supporting EUREGHA and its valued members.
