In light of the Open Days 2008, 10 regions came together to create a conglomerate whose activities focused on health. BIRTH, i.e. Bringing Innovative Regions
Together for Health’, was part and parcel of the Health Village and organised 3 seminars to which regional representatives, representatives from DG REGIO and the European Investment Bank, and academics intervened.
