From 23 to 25 January, the ONCODIR project had its first plenary consortium meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus, to brainstorm and define together the approach and next steps.
ONCODIR is developing a platform based on artificial intelligence to prevent Colorectal Cancer. It will provide recommendation services based on input from citizens, clinicians and policy-makers, considering factors such as lifestyle, nutrition and economics. To validate the ONCODIR results, laboratory tests and pilots will be conducted in five EU countries, involving medical scientists, healthcare providers, foundations and consortium experts and will consider cost-effectiveness, affordability and cost-benefit parameters.
EUREGHA is providing support to Work Package 2 on “Participatory Implementation Research Framework and System Co-Design”, Work Package 5 on “Financial, Clinical and Political Analyses for ONCODIR Adoption”, Work Package 6 on “Long-lasting Validation of ONCODIR Solutions and Methodologies and End-user upskilling”, and Work Package 7 on “Synergistic Impact creation & Bottom-up Innovation”
