As a Consortium Member of the RegHealth-RI project, EUREGHA will attend the workshop “Analysis of Health R&I in less performing EU regions: Present situation, possible causes and influencing factors” in Madrid on 18-19 June.
Launched in November 2014, the RegHealth-RI project has as its main goals to i) reduce the gaps in Health R&I across the EU regions ii) to increase the participation in Horizon2020 and iii) to facilitate synergies between Horizon2020 and the Structural Funds. RegHealth-RI receive funding from Horizon2020 and have a duration of two years.
The Madrid workshop is the first out of three thematic workshops during the project’s durations and is organized by INNOVATEC. The objectives of the workshop include:
– An analysis of the regional disparities in terms of health research and innovation, including the analysis of the participation of low performing European regions in health areas of the FP7 programme.
– Detection of common patterns and study of determinants on health R&I within the less performing EU regions.
– Presentation of ongoing R&I initiatives and its potential interactions with the RegHealth-RI project.
– Presentation and discussion on the RHinG-Net network, which will be launched in 2015.
