On 1st July, the Reference Sites Award Ceremony for the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP – AHA) was held in Brussels.

During the ceremony, the reference sites were rewarded between one and three stars depending on how well they perform in promoting innovation in care and health for the ageing populations in their regions. Four EUREGHA member regions are active in the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing and they were all rewarded with stars during the ceremony. Languedoc – Roussillon (FR), Emilia – Romagna (IT) and Skåne (SE) all received two stars and Catalonia (ES) received three stars.
