“I am Giovanni Gorgoni, the Director General of AReSS Puglia, the Apulian agency for innovation in health and social care operating with a wide variety of competences, from epidemiology and care intelligence to digital health and telemedicine, from health technology assessment to healthcare quality auditing, cross-cutting the improvement of healthcare workforce skills and the social inclusion. I guess that the biggest challenge for the next EB mandate could be the scouting of novel patterns of community building, fuelling the disruptive transition from healthcare domain to wellbeing ecosystem.”

“I am Markus Klamminger, the Director for Medicine and Care of the Health Agency of Lower Austria. Together with my team and the colleagues on site we are responsible to ensure high-quality, modern and safe health and care in our 27 hospitals and 50 nursing homes. This includes the uptake of digitalisation, sustainable energy supply, strenghtening the attractiveness of health care professions or ensuring an equal access to health services as for example in cross-border healthcare.
As Vice-Chair of EUREGHA I look forward to strongly cooperate with all of you in the upcoming years. We are active and innovative regions spread all over Europe and EUREGHA gives us the unique possibility to speak with one voice towards better health for all.”

“I am Petra Dannapfel, Head of Change Management and Processes and Head of Research for the Health Care Development Office in Region Östergötland. My areas of responsibility are to support a variety of large-scale implementations within our Region, it can be a new digital solution but also a new care process. Further we also work with improvement and development of our care processes and patient pathways. We also educate staff and managers in change management, process and quality improvement. As an executive board member, I look forward to continuing to share knowledge and discuss common issues.  I believe its very vital to learn from each other’s best practices since we all face very similar challenges. Challenges due to demographics and lack of healthcare staff. Further I look forward to work together to strengthen our abilities to implement and use the opportunities that data driven care, digitalization and AI can bring to the health care sector.”

“I am Andrea Pavlickova, the International Engagement Manager with Scottish Government’s Digital Health and Care Directorate. In my day-to-day job, I am responsible for the international engagement and management of EU and international funded projects focusing on the deployment and scaling-up of digital care solutions. I am actively engaged in several European and international networks to promote and enhance Scotland’s reputation in digital care. My work also focuses on knowledge transfer, implementation of Memoranda of Understandings and exchange of good practices at national, European and international level to stimulate scaling-up of innovative solutions. As an Executive Board member I look forward to closer collaboration with other regions and countries in Europe, sharing the expertise, building the mutual relationships and trust which offer us new opportunities on how to overcome common challenges in delivering high-quality, accessible, and financial sustainable healthcare. EUREGHA and its network of regional and local healthcare authorities provides a unique platform for bringing the European regions together and mobilising the existing resources, expertise and evidence towards the common goal of improved health and well-being of European population.”

“I am Emma Spearthe Welsh Government Deputy Director for the Office of the Director General in Health & Social Services/Chief Executive of NHS Wales. As well as overseeing the day to day operations in the office I have responsibility for Health & Social Care Strategy, Equalities, Welsh Language Policy and the A Healthier Wales Transformation Programme. As an Executive Board member I look forward to continuing to collaborate and share best practice with other Regions on the common issues that are affecting us all, particularly the integration of health and social care and workforce recruitment and retention.
We are all facing the same challenges with an ageing population and an increase in the number of long term conditions that people are living with, so have a real opportunity to work together and strengthen our knowledge and experience in these areas.”

“I am Sol Wallyn, part of the Team International Health and Care at the Department for Care of the Flemish Government. My interests in my job are to liaise my colleagues with the international environment and ensure that they can share their policy initiatives with their peers in other countries. The EUREGHA network therefore is an excellent opportunity within the EU and European context. As Executive Board member I would like to contribute to establish exchanges with the EU Institutions and more particularly, the Commission, the EU Parliament and the CoR, on policy issues relevant for Flanders and the other members of EUREGHA. The future of EUREGHA lies in the strength of connecting its members with other regional and local authorities and of course the EU Institutions.”

“I am Maurizia Rolli, serving as the Chief of the Department of Innovation in Healthcare and Social Services within the Ministry of Health and Social Policies in Emilia-Romagna. Our organization is dedicated to developing innovative tools, strategies, and analysing data from regional databases. Our aim is to shape evidence-based policies in Healthcare and Social Services while also fostering coordination between the Regional Government and academic and non-academic institutions. As an Executive Board member, my focus is on strengthening the network with other regions and sharing the outcomes of our endeavours. We strive to conduct meaningful and impactful research, contributing to the establishment of a quality-oriented healthcare system for our citizens. I firmly believe that during times of uncertainty, characterized by factors such as macroeconomic constraints, population aging, and increasing social inequalities, cooperation with Euregha can truly make a difference.
