EUREGHA – the reference network of European Regional and Local Health Authorities – is pleased to invite you to the meeting organised by the Committee of the Regions’ Interregional Group on Health and Well-being:
Thursday, 30 June 2022 (8:00 – 9:00 CET)
Hybrid – Microsoft Teams & limited on-site participation
The second 2022 meeting of the Interregional Group on Health and Well-being will focus on gender and health and the underlying inequality challenge. As research shows, men have shorter life expectancies and higher mortality rates. Women, while living longer, report worse health status than men and higher morbidity. This trend has been generally confirmed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This hybrid meeting will be a unique opportunity to foster a policy debate on the dimension of gender in health, addressing the state of play and exploring the challenge at stake from different angles.
Please, find the event agenda and the registration link below.
Given the limited access to physical attendance, the EUREGHA Secretariat will consider registrations as remote attendance by default, and will provide the link to those registered as the event approaches. Registrations for virtual participation are open until 28 June 2022.
If you are interested in attending the meeting on-site, you can express your interest in the registration form by 22 June at the latest. Priority will be given to the presence of CoR members, and eventual available seats will be allocated by the Secretariat on a first come first served basis.
