We are convinced Northern Ireland will benefit from the cooperation among European regional and local authorities provided through EUREGHA, especially in a moment when key priorities and objectives for the public health sector are being redefined by a new European Commission. In 2019, EUREGHA has launched the “Thematic Network on Healthcare in Cross Border Regions” and publicated a booklet on “Best Practices from EUREGHA Members on eHealth”. We are happy to involve Northern Ireland in all the practices and are convinced future collaboration will make sure the year 2020 will be a fruitful year filled with good practices through fruitful exchanges and discussions. Together, we will make sure the highest quality of health and social care services are delivered to people across the EU, ensuring better, local and faster access to health care.
With a total of 16 members, EUREGHA is increasingly growing as a reference network and is establishing closer relations with EU institutions and other relevant stakeholders. EUREGHA is making the voice of regional and local health authorities heard by advocating for the important role of regions in shaping the future of health in Europe and seeking collaborations with all the key stakeholders in the field.
