EUREGHA member Languedoc-Roussillon (FR) has been named the reference site of the month by the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP-AHA).

The reference site focuses its work on chronic diseases, ageing and handicap and the project MACVIA-LR (Contre les Maladies Chroniques pour un Vieillissement Actif en Languedoc-Roussillon), which aims to develop innovative solutions to improve the care of patients affected by chronic diseases.

The region has also established two living labs which focus on innovative solutions to enable elderly and handicapped people to maintain an independent living environment. Lastly, the region has also launched the project AIRWAYS-ICPs, which is focusing on developing multisectoral ICPs for chronic respiratory diseases.
