2011 is a crucial year for EUREGHA. Nowadays, the network is recognised as a credible stakeholder by regional and local health authorities as well as the European Institutions, notably DG Health and Consumers and the Committee of Regions. Yet, we have learned that without a sustainable structure EUREGHA is at risk, given that regions and local authorities in Brussels cannot ensure enough human and financial resources. Therefore, important decisions about the network have to be made for the year 2011. We have to concentrate on finding means for a sustainable network with the necessary resources in order to remain the major regional and local network.
